MG Takes on Thursday //ft. Horses, Magic and Monsters

Hello, guys!

It’s been far too long that I have done an MG Tages on Thursday post. But I have to admit, I missed those posts and I will gladly present you a new book!

MGTakesOnThursday is a weekly feature from Mary at BookCraic to celebrate the love for Middle Grade Books! The steps to take part are here.

Del Toro Moon by Darby Karchut

35183477. sy475
Publisher: OwlHollowPress

“While I wish I could blame it all on him, I must admit we were outnumbered. A surprise attack by a pack of skinners.”

Del Toro Moon, page 11

This book in three words:

Horses, Magic, Monsters

“Del Toro Moon” is the first in what I hope will be a series with a lot of books full of action, adventure, monsters and “the family business”. Furthermore, this author has already made me member of her fanclub through her ability to describe the main character’s feelings so vividly that I feel them myself.

If you wanna know more about this book then maybe you wanna check out my review.

  2. I was just thinking of this the other day, too, that I haven’t done this in a while! I need to get better at doing it at least maybe twice a month, sheesh. xD

That cover is so cute and makes me want to pick it up (because I’m easy and shallow). Love the quote, too, though! I’ll have to see if I can get my hands on this one. :3
