Hello, sweet peas!
Somehow I feel like this week is taking forever. Like this week has already been going on for three weeks. Is that possible? Or is it just my warped sense of time, lost forever in the cosmic spiral of the was and the will be?
Anyway, it’s Wednesday and on Wednesday we answer Sam’s questions about the was, is and will be. HA!
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What did I recently finish reading?

I finished “The Familiars – Secrets of the Crown” in less than two days and now I’m kinda sad, that I don’t have the third book at home. I guess I will have to wait for that.
What am I currently reading?

I’m still reading “A Court of Thorns and Roses”. It goes rather slowly and I’m kinda dragging myself through the book. So far I’m still waiting to be completely hooked. The start was fine but now it’s just kinda trickling and I’m kinda bored. But I also don’t wanna abandon it yet either since I don’t know when I would pick it up again, so I’m still holding on.

To mix it up a little I have started “The coldest girl in Coldtown” which is my first book by Holly Black. I was quite curious about the style and I have to say, I’m already intrigued.
What will I read next?
At the moment I have no plans. I’m kinda craving a new Middlegrade book but the books on my tbr don’t really strike my fancy so I will just go with the flow after my current reads which basically means that I will sit in front of my shelf forever and stare at the books so long until one just falls into my lap.
Don’t question my willpower or sanity, please.

The Familiars looks really cute. I’ll have to look that up! I’ve really enjoyed the Holly Black books I’ve read so far, but I haven’t read The Coldest Girl in Town yet. I’ll be interested to see what you think of it. I might have to pick it up soon, too. Sounds like a good winter read.
Here’s my WWW post.
Thank you so much. I really raced through The Familiars and I have lots of happy memories reading it to my sisters when they were little. <3 Coldest Girl in Coldtown is about vampires and so far I think it's summer. 😀
I thought A Court of Thorns and Roses wasn’t really anything special. The second book was amazing, though. It’s worth it to get through the first book just so you can get to the second one. I started The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, but never finished it. Maybe it’s time to try it again?

Oh no! I’m so sad to see you’re not liking a Court of Thorns and Roses. Not because I’m one of the passionate fans, but because it has been sitting unread on my shelf for years and I’m scared to finally read it 😱😂 I hope it becomes more interesting!
My WWW.
I’ve heard from so many people now that the first book is rather boring but you have to read it to get to the second one which is supposed to be amazing. 😀
I really dislike it when that happens. Who want,s to read a whole book just to be able to get to another book? 😂
