January wrap-up

Hello, sweet peas!

Yes, a wrap up! I know it’s been a while. February is also more or less gone. But so much happened in January that I wanna tell you about….I just don’t remember any of it. Let’s face it, I have the memory of a goldfish sometimes. ๐Ÿ˜

But I can tell you something about the books that I’ve read. Goodreads is my friend. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, yeah. Usually I would show you the books I’ve bought but I’ve successfully stuck to my Book Buy Ban and didn’t buy any. Yay! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

Okay. Read books. I have some.

Eines Tages, Baby by Julia Engelmann

An audio book and my first finish book of the year. I remember when it came out in 2014 or something. Back then I found it very clever after reading (more, listening) a piece of it. Now I feel much more secure in myself than back then and find the texts maybe a little naive.

Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab

My first physical book of the year and I loved it. I loved it so much and I can’t wait for the next installment “Bridge of Souls” to come out in autumn.

The prince and the dressmaker by Jen Wang

My first reread of the year and a graphic novel. The beginning of the year is always full of rereads for me. And this one is really cute, so…

Animal Wizards – Drei magische Gefรคhrten by AJ Epstein and A. Jacobson

A ebook I bought because of nostalgia. I gifted this as a hardcopy to my sisters many years ago and I used to read that to her before bedtime. I had completely forgotten how charming it is though. Really cute.

Animal Wizards – Das Geheimnis der Krone by AJ. Epstein and A.Jacobson

The sequel of the book above. I’m really sad that they didn’t translate the rest of the series. Maybe I just gotta read the rest in English.

The Midwinter Witch by Molly Knox Ostertag

Another graphic novel and the third in a series. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by this one though.

Animox – Das Heulen der Wรถlfe by Aimee Carter

Another audiobook, another reread and a lot of great fun. I really adore this story and the narrator William Dufris is amazing.

That’s seven books! Wow, that’s actually a great amount for me. And that even though January was a rather exhausting month for me, that much I remember.

I even managed to write one review. You can click the link if you want. ๐Ÿ˜‰

And that’s pretty much it. I hope you had a great January as well. I will try to be better at February. ๐Ÿ˜‰
