I thought you might be interested in all the books that I have added to my collection lately. I mean, I’m always interested in the books that you buy, so maybe you are. 😉
I’m actually not really sure when I made a post like this the last time, so I hope it won’t get too long. Who are we kidding here, it’s gonna be super long.

Up over the Woodward Wall by A. Deborah Baker
I think that one might have been a cover buy mostly. I mean, the story itself sounds fun too but can we just appreciate the gorgeous cover? Anyway. I’m actually pretty curious about what’s inside too.
Chilling Effect by Valerie Valdes
I think they had me that the psychic cats. No, seriously. I think that this book is gonna be thrilling and funny and I haven’t read any scifi in a while.
The International Yeti Collective by Paul Mason
I mean, yetis? That is something I haven’t read anything about yet. I think that this one might be really great fun and somehow different. Looking forward to this one!
The Midnight Hour by Benjamin Read & Laura Trinder
I have high hopes for this one! I read so many good reviews and I think it’s right up my alley.
The Midnight Howl by Benjamin Read & Laura Trinder
Because, hey! Why buy just one book in a series when you can buy two, right? I mean, doesn’t matter if I don’t like the first one, at least I have the second one too! (Although I don’t think I won’t like the first one. So…score?)
Scavengers by Darren Simpson
I..I forgot what I wanted to say about this book. I mean, I didn’t only buy it for the gorgeous cover, I also read great reviews about it and it sounds really good.
Hollowpox – The Hunt for Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend
I don’t understand myself. I mean, I understand why I bought this one. I have been waiting hard for it. But I still haven’t read it? Maybe because I don’t want to wait too long for the next book after this one?
A Wolf called Wander by Rosanne Perry
I think this book might be heartwarming and heartbreaking, beautiful and sad at the same time. I love books with animal protagonists and since it’s actually based on a real animal I know that I’m gonna do a lot of research later. I also have loved wolves from a rather early age on – three if I remember correctly, and guys, there are stories nobody should ever know, stars help me – and I think that this book is gonna be literally a journey.

A great selection. I loved The International Yeti Collective – very cute with a great environmental theme – and the names for the yetis are brilliant! Scavengers is incredible – such a powerful story. I have Hollowpox and A Wolf Called Wander but haven’t read them yet.

Whenever I read your posts, I cringe a little, because I know I’m going to be skipping off to Goodreads to figure out where I can get these books. xD Woe to my TBR. I still need to read Up over the Woodward Wall, but I’m expecting I’ll probably love it because it’s written by Seanan McGuire, and she’s got such a wonderful writing voice! The Midnight Hour and The Midnight Howl look fabulous! Can’t wait to see what you think of them.
Also, YES, READ HOLLOWPOX. Okay, I’m going to give you that the concern about having to wait FOREVER for the next one is 100% valid, especially with everything that happens in the book. But it’s worth it. Oh gosh, it was so good. xD
Oh, Sammie! I’m sorry. 😀 But you know, same goes the other way round. You are poison for my resolve not to put anything on my tbr until I have read some books off. 😂
I actually realized too late that Seanan McGuire was the same that also wrote the Wayward series and I didn’t really like those ones, so I’m not too sure about Up over the Woodward Wall now. I’ll guess I’ll let it surprise me.
Also, Hollowpox. Yeah, I know. I was wondering if I should just reread them all before reading Hollowpox, just to draw it out a bit…
