Hello, friends!
And another month is gone. I would say that’s a surprise, but if we’re being honest, it’s not really. The older we get, the shorter certain timespans seem to become.
Anyway, it’s already May and I’m a bit behind with my wrap-up and unfortunately didn’t prepare anything, so this is gonna be rather short, since I have no idea what I did in April anymore. Mostly.
♣️ I went to get an MRI for my heart. I was stuck for one whole hour in that tube but thank heck I didn’t get klaustrophobic. It was okay. It just took long, was loud and afterwards I felt kinda dizzy. I have not gotten the results yet, but since I’m feeling rather good, I guess it’s all fine.
I really cannot remember what else happened, besides that we went to the zoo? We basically went outside for the first time in two years, which was great.

It was not much this month. I know I say that all the time but this time it was even less than usual. I still hope to finish more books in May since I don’t want to fall behind on my Goodreads challenge.
All of these books were new releases, so no backlist titles either.
I had to go back to check what I can put here and yay, there are three things I can link! It’s also the first time that I did my MONTHLY MINI REVIEWS which contains several shorter reviews. 🙂

That’s pretty much it! I hope you had a great April and are looking forward to May! I sure do. 😀
Here’s hoping May is a better reading month for you! We went to the zoo this past month, too! My one-year-old loved it.
I’m already super motivated to read and to blog, so I’m fairly confident. 😀
There is only one zoo around here that’s about an hour away. It has all those local animals, from central Europe. I seriously love it there, because it’s halfway up the mountain and they have these successful breeding programs. We even saw some newly born piglets. (They were all asleep in a pile in the shade under a tree.)
Happy reading! April was an odd month. Hopefully May will be filled with lots of great books!
I hope so too, Nicole! I have a lot of great books on my plan.
Hope your MRI results are okay! April was a weird month… But I hope May will be a better month all around for you! Also, I just noticed the emojis you use for MG/YA/Adult and I love it 😍 So adorable!
Thank you so much, Dini! I feel fine and don’t have any problems anymore walking up stairs or ride a bike, so I’m fairly confident. 🙂
Yeah, the chicken is the only one that fit rather well and was distinguishable. I think it’s quite fun. 😀
