Hey, guys!
How are you lovely bunch? I still have to make myself some lunch to take with me before I step out of the house and start another day. Well, it has already started but you know what I mean. Not getting strangled by the telephone cable, being the grocery hero, attempt a world record in answering the most emails in a day, that kind of thing.
But before that I still have to finish today’s WWW Wednesday by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I have just started “The Legend of Greg” by Christ Rylander yesterday evening. Middlegrade March is truly a wonderful thing. I’m having so much fun.
I’m not that far into this book but it promises to be fun already. I mean, it starts with flaming lady-beards and a car that just gets lost somewhere.

I recently finished “The Polar Bear Explorers’ Club” by Alex Bell. It was a cute book that I would definitely recommend. I love books that are set in winter or at the pole, short, books that have a lot of snow and ice in them. Phew, but that means I have to write another review.

I think it shows that I didn’t read any of the books I wanted to read last week. So let’s try this again. After I finished “The Legend of Greg” I will read either:

Hazel stands at a crossroads. She and the remaining crew of the Argo II could return home with the Athena Parthenos statue and try to stop Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter from going to war. Or they could continue their quest to find the House of Hades, where they might be able to open the Doors of Death, rescue their friends Percy and Annabeth from Tartarus, and prevent monsters from being reincarnated in the mortal world. Whichever road they decide to take, they have to hurry, because time is running out. Gaea, the bloodthirsty Earth Mother, has set the date of August 1 for her rise to power. Annabeth and Percy are overwhelmed. How will the two of them make it through Tartarus? Starving, thirsty, and in pain, they are barely able to stumble on in the dark and poisonous landscape that holds new horrors at every turn. They have no way of locating the Doors of Death. Even if they did, a legion of Gaea’s strongest monsters guards the Doors on the Tartarus side. Annabeth and Percy can’t exactly launch a frontal assault. Despite the terrible odds, Hazel, Annabeth, Percy, and the other demigods of the prophecy know that there is only one choice: to attempt the impossible. Not just for themselves, but for everyone they love. Even though love can be the riskiest choice of all.

Stella has been living behind the magic of the forest for most of her life. Lonely, she enrolls at the local school, and as she begins to make friends, she discovers that she is even more different than she thought. But as autumn turns to magical winter, Stella realizes that uncovering her own family secret is the only way to release the forest from the grip of a dark and old magic.
Do you know any of my books? What do you think of my book choices?

I love Rick Riordan books! I think the House of Hades is sitting on my virtual bookshelf waiting for me to find some time to read it. Happy reading!
Happy reading to you too! I have to admit that I don’t quite like the Heroes of Olympus series quite as much, that’s why it has been sitting on my tbr for quite some time. 😅
Mine too. I think I just read too many too fast. Sort of saturated my interest. I still need to read the Egyptian mythology ones too.
Hope you’re having an okay day! Take care of yourself!
I.. honestly don’t know any of the books on here? Except for Rick Riordan’s – I’ve heard of that one. Guess it’s due to my rarely reading middle grade, haha. 😀
I love Middlegrade and since it’s Middlegrade March I try to get as many in as I can. 😀
Makes sense! I also read one MG novel for MG March, since I had one on my TBR – Victoria Schwab’s Tunnel of Bones. 😛 I think the only MG I read this year and last year are City of Ghosts, Tunnel of Bones and.. Monstrous Devices! That’s it. 😛
Oh, I loved Tunnel of Bones. <3 Aaaand that reminds me that I still have to review that one.
The eternal struggle of being a reviewer, right?!
I remember reading It Only Happens In The Movies and I was ready to full-on RAVE about the book but.. then I forgot to write my review.. And.. well.. I never did? I hope to reread it one day so I can still give it the raving review it deserves, haha.
My sons used to love the Riodan books. Happy Reading! https://teripolen.com/2020/03/18/www-wednesday-what-am-i-reading-amreading-35/
They are really great fun! Happy reading to you too!
Tirilu, looks like you’ve been reading some great, fun books. I haven’t read any of these but I loved Riordan’s Percy Jackson series and really must read more of his books. Keep safe and happy reading!
Here’s my WWW post: https://thebookwormchronicles.wordpress.com/2020/03/18/www-wednesday-18th-march-2020/ 🙂
I don’t like the Heroes of Olympus series quite as much but the Magnus Chase was great fun too.
I will have to put the Magnus Chase books onto my wish list then, thank you 😊
The Legend of Greg looks fabulous! I’ll have to look that one up. Oooh, Shadows of Winterspell sounds great, and I’m really curious about that one. I look forward to seeing what you think of it! Happy reading.
I really highly recommend all the books by Amy Wilson. I love her books. They have this special kind of magic. You should really try. 🙂
I love Rick Riodans books! Hope you get to them soon
