WWW Wednesday // Another slow day

Hello, sweet peas!

I almost forgot about WWW Wednesday. This week is really strange. I feel like it’s been going on for weeks, it’s so slow. I have lost all sense of time.

The three WWWs are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie

6251565

I’m still reading this and am about halfway, I think. Unfortunately, I’m waaaaay behind and my buddy is already done but I don’t want to give up on this book. It’s not boring or anything, there is so much happening and I love it. It just takes me longer, is all.

The Midnight Hour by Benjamin Read & Laura Trinder

I haven’t actually continued with this book. I was distracted. I really should, though. I feel like I should up my reading until the end of the month.

Explorer Academy #3 – The Double Helix by Trudy Trueit

My only physical book at the moment. I quite like it. I’m really curious what will happen in this one. The blurb is actually not very forthcoming with what they will find or were they will go in this book. Maybe I’ll manage this one before the end of the month as well.

Sal and Gabi break the Universe by Carlos Hernandez

I think I was slowly climbing towards a reading slump but this one makes everything better. It’s just so hilarious, even though I’m not sure if there will be any mythology in it, which is what I kinda expect from the Rick Riordan Presents books. But I love reading it and I actually didn’t even mean to read it, I was just aimlessly browsing and kinds stumbled upon it. (I mean, I knew it exists, I just didn’t mean to read it that soon?)

The Mystery of the Spanish Chest by Agatha Christie

This shortstory is the only book I’ve finished since last week’s post. It was rather obvious to me but I still enjoy even the small Poirot stories.

Let’s be honest here, I’m just glad if I finish all the ones I’m currently reading until next week. I don’t think I will be able to read another one.

So? What about you? What have you been reading, what are you currently reading and what are you planning to read?

  1. Looks like you’ve finished some great books 🙂 I agree about the length of this week, I think its because February is such a short month! I’m still reading A Court of Silver Flames and I think it’s going to take me a while hehe x

    • A net for small fishes is a delightful title! What genre is it? And is there any actual fishing going on? 😀 You sound so excited about your books. Happy reading! <3

    • I’m at book 3 now and it’s so delightful. It’s full of exploring and riddles and I’m so happy with it. The greatest thing is that all those rather futuristic gadgets that are in these books are actually real. There are prototypes of many of them in existence. And at the end of the book you’ll find interviews or explanations about real people who work in those fields! I’m super hyped about that.

    • Aww, too bad. But I’m sure you’re learning a lot of cool new things! You are getting smarter with every text book you read and are so close to world domination! 😀

  2. Ohhh, Death on the Nile! Love love that book! Nice to read that you are enjoying it~ Currently not reading anything, but I plan on starting a Dutch book soon. 🙂
