WWW Wednesday// ft. dragons and denial

I wish I could say I’m in a good mood, since it’s Wednesday and there is a holiday on Friday, so it’s basically Thursday for me but I’m not. I’m in a seethingly bad mood and I wanna trash some stuff.

My supervisor told me yesterday that he thinks I’m not doing enough and am complaining too much because that’s apparently something only he is allowed to do. And no, I’m still not over it since yesterday. I’m still mad.

I’m seriously wondering how fun it would be to turn into a dragon and burn this whole place down and then wrap myself around a churchtower watching and chuckling and breathing fire every once in a while. Don’t you think that would be fun? No? Am I overreacting?

Oh well. Let’s just have some fun with the WWW Wednesday hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words because that’s why we are all here anyway.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

The Boundless by Kenneth Oppel

The Boundless, the greatest train ever built, is on its maiden voyage across the country, and first-class passenger Will Everett is about to embark on the adventure of his life! When Will ends up in possession of the key to a train car containing priceless treasures, he becomes the target of sinister figures from his past. In order to survive, Will must join a traveling circus, enlisting the aid of Mr. Dorian, the ringmaster and leader of the troupe, and Maren, a girl his age who is an expert escape artist. With villains fast on their heels, can Will and Maren reach Will’s father and save The Boundless before someone winds up dead?

According to Goodreads I read this books somewhen in 2015. So you understand why it was high time for a reread. Kenneth Oppel is one of my favourite authors and I’m thrilled to read one of his books again. (I also really need to get my hands on his new book that came out in February.)

I really wish I could say the rest of my current read list has completely vanished. I mean, I could say that. If I say it often enough and not look at my Goodreads page then I could believe it. Would you believe it?
Yeah….thought so.
Okay, the other books I’m currently reading are still:
The Witches of Willow Cove by Josh Roberts
The Subtle Art of not giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
The Last Wild by Piers Torday
Obsidio by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman
Death in the Clouds by Agatha Christie

45945218. sy475

Rumblestar by Abi Elphinstone

Told you I would have to put this book on all my lists. 😉

36750064

The Legend of Greg by Chris Rylander

In the end I really flew through this book.

21537737

Tristans Moment by Adriana Popescue (a novella)

Okay, I think it’s not even that. It’s more like a bonus chapter. Does still count like a book according to Goodreads though. 😀

6468666

The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong

And the reread of that series is finished as well. I feel like there are still some open questions but in the end I’m quite satisfied with it.

The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen

Actually there are a few that I could read next. Mostly my huge pile of cr but this one is basically singing to me from my nightstand so that one might smuggle its way onto the cr pile as well.

So? What are your three Ws for the week? Do you know any of my books listed? Anything you are reading that you wanna share?
