HAPPY HUMPDAY, MY PEAS!

I feel absolutely happy that time is flying again at the moment. March was just too long of a month and dragged on and on but now I’m less stressed and I hope you are all doing well too. <3

It’s still somewhat hard to focus on one book and feeling perfectly good about it, that’s why I have started a whole lot of new books again. They are all screaming and shouting for my undevided attention, so soon my ears will pop off and my clothes are all ripped because they use their sharp little papery teeth to climb and eat me. Help!

Anyway, while I’m being munched on by books and a guilty conscience it’s time to ask the real questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I wanted to put a Cluedo joke here but then I thought nah, too obvious.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words btw.

Let’s make this quick and painless.

Rumblestar by Abi Elphinstone

I have finally started it and am so in love. I knew I would love it but now I’m actually reading and loving it. It also boosts my want-to-read-everything-reading-mood-points. 😁

The Subtle Art of not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson

A non-fiction book that I read on the train on my way home. It’s not the fastest way to read but I kinda use it as a cooling down book after work.

The last Wild by Piers Torday

I wanted to read a book by Piers Torday. Simple as. I actually had The Lost Magician in mind but in the end, this one it was. It’s pretty great so far.

35048956

Obsidio by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufmann

It’s still a buddyread but my buddy is already done with it. I still love this world but I can’t brin myself to care about Asha and Rhys and that makes the read a little slower.

The Witches of Willow Cove by Josh Roberts

So far I really like the characters and the writing and descriptions are really atmospheric. I will have to finish that soon and write a review for you.

36750064

The Legend of Greg by Chris Rylander

Still reading that one as well. I should really hurry up.

Death in the Clouds by Agatha Christie

Yeah, I don’t know why this is taking so long either.

Nope. Haven’t finish anything new since last week. πŸ˜›

Let’s be super honest. I’m not gonna finish all of them until next week, so there is no need to put a going-to-read book on top of that pile. But who knows? Maybe I will abandon all my current reads in about an hour to start something totally different?

What are you currently reading? What are your plans?

  1. I’m glad you’re enjoying Rumblestar – such a great book. I’ve heard lots of good things about The Last Wild – need to add to my TBR.

  2. I’m so glad to see that you’re enjoying Rumblestar! I still need to get my hands on the first book, and I’m looking forward to it. :3 The Last Wild looks super cute, too!

I think Asha and Rhys were my least favorite pairing in the Illuminae series. I felt very lukewarm about them and didn’t really care about their romance. It becomes so much better when all the characters assemble, though. Worth chugging along just for that. πŸ˜‰

    Here’s my WWW post.

  3. Ah, Agatha Christie is usually such fun! But I don’t reaaaaally like Poirot. (I’m a heathen, I know.)

I’m glad you’re less stressed! I’m pretty prone to starting multiple books at once, but I just try and run with it. πŸ™‚

    Here’s my post!
