WWW Wednesday // I’m freeeeeeee

I just started this book and I’m so excited to read it. I just need something nice right now. Not that the other books I’ve been reading haven’t been nice, I just want something that is light, you know.

Suzy is surprised to find a grumpy troll building a railway through her house – especially when a gigantic steam train crashes into her hallway! This is the Impossible Postal Express, the trusty delivery service of the Union of Impossible Places, and Suzy becomes its newest recruit. And with her cursed first package, an Impossible adventure begins.

This was my very first Netgalley book and now I’ve finally finished it. Now all I have to do is write the review and post it everywhere. Which I will do. After I know what to write. I’m afraid it will be a tough one.

It’s not easy being a teenage witch. Seventh grader Abby Shepherd is just getting the hang of it when weird stuff starts happening all around her hometown of Willow Cove. Green slime bubbling to life in science class. Giant snakes slithering around the middle school gym. Her best friend suddenly keeping secrets and telling lies. Things only begin to make sense when a stranger named Miss Winters reveals that Abby isn’t the only young witch in town—and that Willow Cove is home to a secret past that connects them all. Miss Winters, herself a witch, even offers to teach Abby and the others everything she knows about witchcraft. But as Abby learns more about Miss Winters’ past, she begins to suspect her new mentor is keeping secrets of her own. Can Abby trust her, or does Miss Winters have something wicked planned for the young witches of Willow Cove?

I don’t want to say too much about this book because I still have to write the review and I’m still pondering. (Seems like I’m doing that a lot lately.)

I think I will read the first book and the second book back to back since the last stop of my Believathon is Seconds. Unless I really end up not liking the first book, I will give the second one a try right after.

Suzy Smith and her friends have gathered again for the re-launch of The Impossible Postal Express. The celebrations don’t last long though, before Trollville is rocked by a violent tremor—one of a series growing more powerful by the day. It’s clear something sinister is underfoot. Nevertheless Suzy’s got a long overdue package that the Express must deliver, and it may just lead her to some answers.
