WWW Wednesday // I’m getting ahead!

Hello, dear sweet peas!

How are you doing? I slept badly and I have a headache but nevertheless I hope that this day is gonna be fine. I am getting ahead nicely at work, and with my reading and I hope that I can stop dripping the juice of the orange I’m eating down my collar.

I’ve actually finished some books last week and I’m reading some new ones and I’m happy that my reading has improved again!

The three WWWs are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie

6251565

I’m reading this as a buddy read with a friend and I’m really excited for it. She’s already way ahead of me so I have to hurry. But I’m really glad to read some more Poirot and even though I know how it ends, I’m happy to dive into it.

The Midnight Hour by Benjamin Read & Laura Trinder

This is a really fast read. I’m a little bit annoyed by the main protagonist but I feel like there is more to her that first meets the eye. I’m almost sure of it. I’m quite enjoying this book and I definitely don’t regret picking it for this week!

Explorer Academy #2 The Falcon’s Feather by Trudi Trueit

I have finished it and I loved it. I’m really in love with the whole series. I can’t wait to continue with the third book. I’m not really sure why they named it “The Falcon’s Feather” since it only plays a minor role in the book but I guess in the end it’s not that important.

The ten riddles of Eartha Quicksmith by Loris Owen

I really enjoyed this read. It was fastpaced and really fun, even though I also had some minor trifles with it. But I’m curious what the next books brings (and when that will come out. I hope soon.)

Explorer Academy #3 – The Double Helix by Trudy Trueit

I’m really looking forward to the third book in the series. I really wanna know what the next clue is and where they will find the next piece of the cypher.

  1. Like you, I had a few gripes with Ten Riddles but enjoyed it overall and liked the riddles! I didn’t get on with Midnight Hour but I’m glad you’re enjoying it and seen to have found your reading rhythm again!

    • Thank you, Rachael! I know, Midnight Hour is a little weird in a way. I’m having my trouble with the MC but I sure love the worldbuilding. Did you finish it or did you break it off?

  2. Was meant to be reading Death on the Nile as a buddy read with a friend too but we’ve had to postpone for a bit. Happy Reading!!

    • Thank you! I love discovering books that are more unknown. πŸ™ŒπŸ» The cover of Midnight Hour is great but I like the cover for the sequel even a little bit more. πŸ™ŒπŸ»
