WWW Wednesday // in which I talk about coffee and books

Hello, sweet peas!

I can’t really believe that it’s Wednesday again. I have completely lost my sense of time. I can’t tell if this week has been rather long already or just very short.
I’m quite tired at the moment, since I’ve got a lot of work at the office and for some reason lately I have been craving coffee, even though I have stopped drinking coffee months ago because it makes me anxious and my heart race. It’s really weird. (No, decaf is not an option since it has the same effect on me for some reason?) I just miss the taste. If you have any ideas, please, be my guests.

But let’s talk about books. I have only written reviews lately and I’m kinda missing writing discussion posts but I have seriously no idea what to write about. Like I said, times are weird.

The three WWWs are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Nightbooks by J.A. White

35603805

I’m almost done with Nightbooks and I really like this book. I love the theories that my fellow bookclubbers are throwing around and I will be sad when this book is over. I still have about 50 pages to read and I’m not sure if I should just finish it or if I should savour it and still wait.

The Girl in the Wooden Armour by Conrad Mason

Look at this pretty book I got from Netgalley. I’m super excited for it. I have started it this morning and I already loved the first chapter.

The Magic Place by Chris Wormell

A small tale that I think is very well suited for younger readers. It’s surely perfect to read out loud or to read with a child.

Shadow School #1 Archimancy – J.A. White

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and the creepy feeling it gave me, together with a new take on the haunted house. J.A. White really writes great books.

The Crackledawn Dragon (Sampler) by Abi Elphinstone

When I saw that they had a sampler for the Crackledawn Dragon by Abi Elphinstone on Netgalley I was really torn. I didn’t know if I should download it and be satisfied with a few chapters until the real thing is released. How would I ever be able to stop. Ulitmately, I couldn’t help myself and had to read it. It’s absolutely magical and I don’t regret it. I can’t wait to read the book when it’s released. <3

Aurora Burning by Jay Kristoff & Amy Kaufmann

40516960

I haven’t started it yet but I will soon-ish. I’m not entirely sure if I will be able to get through it but it’s a buddy read and I know I will get a kick in the bum if I don’t keep up. 😀

Do you know any of the books on my list? What have you been reading? What are you planning on reading?

  1. Shadow School looks like such a fun read. I should read more MG books. They always make my heart happy when I do 🙂
